Hello there,

I have a hp dvd writer 200e. My laptop crashed and I cannot find the installation discs. Does anybody have an idea where I can download (for free)the software I need? It's not on the Hp-website ....

Go to http://www.drivers.com you will go a login screen. Put in drivers for login and all for the password. Find your drive on the lists and download the driver. Good luck!

Scratch part of the last response. They have changed the format in which they work. You will have to create an account using your e-mail address but the rest is the same.
