Mozilla will auto-update Firefox 3.5 users next month

Mozilla has said today that it will begin auto-updating users of the no-longer-supported Firefox 3.5 next month to 3.6, if users have selected auto-updates. The company says there are still 12 million users of 3.5, which debuted in early 2009. Firefox 3.5 is no longer supported, and the last security patch was sent out last month. Don't do it, I like firefox 3.5.If you do i will uninstall firefox and use Avant browser as my default.

I wouldn't have an issue going from 3.5 to 3.6, but upgrading to 4 I won't do unless they make some serious changes to 4. I tried 4 for a while and totally hate it. I had to go back to 3.6. My two biggest deal breakers are the horrible way the bookmarks are now handled, and in the right click context menu for links, open in a new window is no longer the top option. I despise tabs so open in new window is always my choice.

I will keep 3.6 until they fix those issues or I simply can't use 3.6 anymore for some reason.
