I am stuck at the part where after u hit the corpses into the snakes mouths in the water and then u go to the tree what do u do to open to make the thorns go down i can figure it out?

dude...i dont exactly remember the exact location of the deadpool, but have you looked everywhere where after coming out of the soultombs? i.e. have u tried climbing ALL the walls???????????? Try it and im sure ull find it...hate to be a bit kryptic here, but i havnt played the game in a while, but ill do it today and tell u the xact location of the deadpool by tomorrow or day after :) and i still have to confirm the mission for kunglao which will be done about the same tyme as i get the location of the deadpool for you! laters!

you feed the tree numerous times to get the hint. and if you have not thrown bodies at ALL THE LIVING TREES numerous times to feed them, then i suggest you do so, otherwise the thorns will NOT go down...and if you ppl read ALL THE POSTS from page 1 onwards, you can find many of the answers you seek :) remember..."seek and you shall find...sometimes" :)

you take the portal to the WuShi and get the wall run ability. after that, you come back to the place where you fought baraka and get the wall jump ability and tournament victory on the pedestral where you defeated baraka. After that you backtrack back to the portals and let the cut scenes begin :)

Well its to the left side of the bridge...just go opposite the wooden bridge and you will come to a pit. Jump over it and you will see the statue. Break it, but in order to enter the shrine you need to give a sacrfice and inorder to give the sacrifice you need to get the swing ability (available in the deadpool area)

After you beat Baraka and get the wall run ability from the WuShi, come back through the portal to where you beat Baraka. Climb the stone pedestal and get the Wall Jump ability. (i think), if not then u get it after u beat Goro...but im pretty sure its after u beat Baraka.

THE SWING ABILITY -How to get it
Thanks to Aliasad for providing a good starting point for where to look. I've been trying to find the deadpool area as well. To get to the deadpool you need to travel to the wastelands.
To get to the wasteland area - Go to the area that has the 5 tournament disks appear whenever you win a tournament. To the right there is a small crevice/passageway that you need to use to wall run/bounce to the top. Its not easily visible so run around until you see it. Beat the enemies and then again look for a place to bounce up again. Beating all the enemies on top will open a portal to wastelands. Once you get to the wastelands work your way through -beat goro and the deadpool portal will open. Uppercut the dead onto the hooks and the swing ability is yours.

hi, umm, once you beat the game, and are playing it againg with subzero, when you get to the living forest and get passed the snakes and feed the tree, it sayes you have to reveal all 3 hints to battle reptile. i was wondering what they where. thanks

ok here is what ya do, kunglao...enter the red door and follow the path it leads to killing all enemies...soon u will come to a door u cannot open but there is another door there, enter it and keep on going till u get to a test of might thing which u need to break...after that there should be some cutscene, it culd either be
1. a sword being dropped in the body room (u can get there thru the door with the green symbol)
2. or the door u culd not get thru opening.
There after tht go in there and defeat the enemies...
I still havnt actually turned the game on, dats the reason im a kinda not sure as it had been a long time since ive been there :) just not getting the tyme to play anygames these days! work is hectic! anyways, i hope this helps...

Pick up one of the swords before crossing the bridge. Once you get to the pile of corpses just hack your way through.
There are more strategies once you get beyond that elsewhere on this board. Read what others have posted as well

To those who have finished
I'm at the last battle vs the terrible three. At this point I've racked a heap of experience points. Are they neccessary once I've maxed out all the abilities? I stopped battleing the spawining enemies and just rush past.
According to my stat eter I'm at 63% so I guess I haven't found all the secrets.

Can anyone shed light on this Swing Ability situation? There are a ton of posts asking help, but nobody can tell us where exactly the damn deadpool is to get the swing ability. Which portal to take? Where is it at exactly? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've already described how to get to the deadpool area.
Folks- with a few exceptions like the above, there are a lot of posts that provide answers but no one seems to check the earlier posts before asking questions. Do so and it'll save a lot of time and retyping.

To those who have finished:
1) Where are the koins that unlock the movies? I've unlocked two so far - the beginning sequence and when raiden interupts Kang and Lao sparring with Tsung masquerading as cage. Any pointers on where the other movie koins are located would be much appreciated.
2) I'm playing as kang. Does playing as kung lao have different cutscenes or is the same ones recycled?
