Thandakid thanks man today i downgraded my friends PSP!2.6 > 2.71 > 1.50 It was great i used the Easy Downdater!Thanks man

Yeah of corse this is my guide...!!
You can compare the IPs from this site and the PSP-Hacks forums.
I am a trustworthy member and have 4300+ posts over there... It took me ages to write this guide and it just got stolen without my permission and he didn't give me credit.

Aloha Thanda & hexitnow (not sure who to credit for the tut)
But I am wanting to try this downgrader (I too upgraded to Play Locoroco)
But am unclear as to why it states somewhere that I need to re-format the memory stick AND have the 32mb stick handy?
First, why the reformat?
Second, why have the 32? Can I just throw in the 32, reformat, run the Downdater (successfully I hope), then throw my 2GB back in?
Sorry for the newb questions, im just worried about this process. WHat is the success rate of this anyway?
I dont have a TA082 or whatever as there is no text anywhere visible in my disc tray.

Hey I am Fairly new at this, but i am starting to get frustrated with not being able to play homebrew on my psp 2.8. so what i was thinking is that, could you not backwards engineer a 2.81 os and insert the installation files of a 1.5 so the psp thinks its getting 2.81 when actually it is getting 1.5? or could you get a 2.81 instillation file and a 1.5 installation file and create a file that after the psp has finished checking security etc. will stop the instillation of the 2.81 and start installing 1.5 at the same time just as the 2.81 was about to load?
sorry if that has all been tried i, as i said, am new to this and just suggesting a technique that i have seen work before.

so the saves dont mess with the dump.. if ur getting scared so u cant save ur stuff just save the things on a folder on desktop then format and downgrade1

i usually do save my stuff to the pc just in case my card gets corrupt somehow...so you can throw all the stuff back on once its downgraded with no problems after right?...cool. ill give it a shot and keep you posted...thanks.

hey in your tut there is no is MPHDowngrader.zip and EBOOT_1.50.zip download link do you have one? i wann aget one so i can downgrade my friends 2.0 psp is the 2.0 easier or safer than any other firmware?

any one have any idea?and also on the 2.6 downgrader how long should it take for you then to be able to turn on your psp shall i wait exactly 5mins to be certain? and please can some one send me the 2.0 downgrading tools! adn also is the 2.0 downgrader safer than 2.71 and is the 2.6 safer than the 2.71?

Its been bugging me. I see the little code thingy but it's to the left side(from the naked eye's view).
Does it have to be on the right side?

^^^ You can have text on left hand side, which would not be a TA-082.
