It will be out when its ready, it maybe awhile, though 2.80 was dumped and decrypted ages ago so who knows.

hopefully it'll work for all those unhappy souls stuck w/ 2.8s but other then that i have my doubts about it actually being released today, considering how many things like this happened w/ 2.71

i have a mate that works with sony (he is in the psp development department) and he has told me tha there is no and i repeat no plans to redesign the psp into the so call psp 2 and i am in the procss of trying to find out (from him ) what the flaw in 3.00 is

there is a camera for the psp and there is a ad on for the psp so it has a touch screen so a psp 2 is pointless and is 100% not being devolped (at this time)

hey touran, he'd get fired because of the non-disclosure agreement he had to sign to work there, but then again someone would have to tattle on him, assuming sony doesn't spy on their own employees (*snicker*)

only if he has some real privledged information.

so far all i've seen said is stuff that's already been leaked out months and months ago. (touchscreen / camera) and sony's claimed already publickly not to be making a psp2 yet (or in dev)
