Following weeks of speculation, HP has officially announced that the TouchPad tablet will launch on July 1st in the U.S.
The tablet will hit the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Canada within a week of the US launch.
HP is selling the 16GB model for $500 and the 32GB version for $600.

If HP made good product this might be OK but that isn't the case and the follower base is begining to dwindle so I doubt this will be a big seller for them.
Bought my first Laptop & it was an HP, not a cheap one either, & it crapped out within a few days. The replacement I was sent, had the same faults. Their customer service in India is abysmal. It took 3 months to get a refund & buy a Laptop that was not HP. It is still fault free after 3 years.
I will never buy anything made by HP again, period!
