I also had probs until I found out I was using dvd loader wrongly. go to the search at the top of the page and type in dvd loader. find the instructions for using dvd loader and follow them. Work your way through the sub-menu in dvd loader and your backup will work. download dvd loader from ps2ownz web site.

In the swapmagicfix webpage it say for the game James Bond 007 Everything or Nothing that i have to use CDLOADER and option = Beta4 but I am using DVDLOader and i can't find that option ( Beta4 ) so with option I use ?

then you need a different version of dvd loader.
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader

When i put the DVDLoader in the TV Screen says Ver. 1.0 !
Do you have another version ? Please send me to my email beacuse PS2OWNZ.com i cant download nothing because im new , please send me a copy of dvdloader to my email : mkraydenx@yahoo.com

I have a Playstation 2 Version-9 (SCPH-50001 /N )
I can't use CDLoader because my PS2-v9 have problem reading SwapMagic CD ver 3.2, so i can only use SwapMagic DVD v2.0 !
Please Need DVD-Loader for a PS2 Ver. 9

I don't know because someone send me that DVDLoader to my email, so i burn the ISO file ti DVD-R , but i don't know is the version and if it is for PS2 - ver 9

have just sent you dvd loader v7 all this has all the sub menu options that you should need and should work fine on your v9 ps2

THE DVD-R backups that i am having problem are :
007 Everything or Nothing
(Freeze at Level 4 BlackScreen)
"(Don't have Beta4 Option)"
Devil May Cry 1 (Freeze at start )
Splinter Cell : Pandora Tomorrow (Freeze in the
start screen of Loading ( pandora it freeze in the letter O of pandOra !
USING dvddECRYPTER ISO READ-WRITE 1X : DVD-R
my others ps2-games DVD-R backups works fine so it
not the DVD-R !
I think is the DVDLoader !

yes for 007 you need the beta 4 option(press x when dvd loader has booted to enter sub menu)
for devil may cry try pressing x as the capcom logo appears on the screen
don't think there's a fix yet for pandora tomorrow on v7+ consoles yet

I tried to break through on another thread, but this one might make more sense. I am looking for the DVD loader for v7 PS2 and can't find it or don't know I found it. Can someone email it to me please.

I am assuming this can all be fixed with the DVD Loader, but once i get it, do I burn it onto a dvd-r or can I use dvd+r so I can go over it someday. Also, once I burn it (I assume I can use Alcohol 120%, right?) does someone have the link for the exact directions using the Swap Magic 3?

go to "xsorbit3 satchannel" for dvd loader. i found it going through GOOGLE search engine. full instructions on how to make the disc is there also how to use it properly. you will have to burn it onto dvd-r and not -rw. if you are using a version8 or above ps2 you require it on a dvd, if you use ver1-7 you can burn it onto cd-r ( i think i am correct on the cd-r part, maybe if i am wrong, will someone please post?). hope this helps you out!!!

Thanks 7698. I will try to burn it on both CD-R and DVD-R just to see as I have the PS2 v7. I will let everyone know if this got the Splinter Cell - Pandora, Mafia and James Bond 007 working.
oops! I tried to go to www.xsorbit3 satchannel.com which didn't work so I tried xsorbit.com, no luck. Could you help with the link you suggested? Thanks!

i can't understand why you can not get there? did you try GOOGLE? anyway dvd loader will work with your mentioned games, i have them and it does work (although i don't know about mafia as i don't have that one. the only game that i know of that does't work is sonic heroes.) let me know if you still can't get to that website, and i'll see what i can do.
