im new with all of this things about p2p shares... so i need help, i love to download songs(alot of them) but i cant coz im using dialup. its slow(i know) but is there a way to fasten it up a little bit... im currently using edonkey2000... but im still looking for other p2p programs thats fast and free for dialup... can u pls help me??? somebody told me thatr i should change the settings but i dont know how... can u tell me how? pls guys... i need ur help... i know ur geniuses about these!!! just reply!!! pls!?!

Get some fucking capital letters.

Switch from eDonkey2000 to eMule and then read the wonderful guide Dela has created.

The sticky is at the top.

othersa pdrograms dats fast and 3 4 dialup iz liek WinMX n Kazaa. Butz i dont recomendd kazaaz becuz itz relly rubbisfh.

I have a dial up connection and I download alot of music, it is slow at times other times its not.
I use WinMix and I dont allow more than 2 uploads at a time and I usually try not dowload more than 4 or 5 songs at a time, the more you download at one time the slower it will be and the more people uploading off of you will slow your downloads as well, so yes you need to adjust your settings. I have never used Edonkey2000 so I can not help you there and I dont know what speed your connecting at, just because you have a 56k modem does not mean your are connecting at that speed you will find its usually lower.
One more thing with file sharing you need to be very aware of viruses and make sure you have a virus protector of some kind because this is an easy way to get them and I would not recommend downloading music files with ext. like zip or exe, stick to the mp3's(known music ext) anyways that is about all I can tell you with the information you provided.
