LulzSec, the group behind many high-profile hacks in the past two months, has published their last release, and appear to be sailing off into the sunset.
The group has faced some heat recently from other Web-based groups like "Web Ninjas" and "The Jester," each of which promised to reveal the personal details of the group just like the group did to many innocent users.

I think the heat was getting close, I was under the impression there would be no end to the 'lulz' I guess TOR can only get u so far before the behind-the-scenes warrants get signed for their router logs/traffic monitoring etc.. Assuming they were going down that avenue (That's what I heard anywayz) Live traffic = Traceable (in that scenario)
I had hoped to see them expose more corruption, perhaps they should have gone after some 'those' corporations that we all know engage in such practice, yet are never exposed as doing so.
I guess the world will be a little less interesting with them gone, so: Godspeed lulz boat, Godspeed! We hope we never have need to hear from you again, but I'm confident it won't be long before another greedy co. goes after someone making their HW do what it should instead of improving their product. I hope they have learnt their lesson.
I'm in agreeance. They've been caught. Or, there's a squeaking wheel about to get trashed & replaced rather than oiled.
Waxing poetic now isn't going to sway the vote of real "thinking folk" here. Simpletons & misfits easily swayed to this kind of anti social behavior might find it alluring or forgivable, but what positive change have they really made?
Raised security within the internet? Possibly. Or did they just make it harder for the rest of us to obtain information that already belongs to us under the Freedom of Information Act? And is our banking system now going to hide additional charges to our already bloated accounts for what they're going to call "additional security", that they were supposed to have had in the 1st place?
Nah, stick by the news cast. We'll probably here about a bunch of arrests coming up. I would even venture a guess that a couple of door s got kicked in by ATF or FBI, guns drawn. Might even be an episode on COPS.
