I recently purchased a code/region free DVD Player (JVC XV-N44SL) with a built-in converter in order to watch PAL DVDs on my NTSC TV. The discs load fine and the video plays correctly, but the audio is still noticably faster than the original was. Voices sound slightly chipmunky. Do these built-in converters decode the audio and I just don't have something set correctly? Or am I out of luck and I'll just have to get used to squeaky voices?

Thanks
