Nintendo has released the latest firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS today, adding Netflix streaming. Probably 1 of hundreds of formats & label heads that Netnuts is paying kick backs to, thus meriting the huge anal intrusion & consumer outcry given the last news story of their plan splitting and 60%+ price increase.

Honestly, I don't agree with the new increases, but at the same time I'm not a physical person. I've been trying to steadily move to all digital for a decade now, and that includes my movies. So I never wanted physical DVD's to begin with, I'm glad they're separating it all properly, but practically the same amount of money to stream a movie as to ship a plastic disc covered in paper through the deplorably slow mail system???

But whatever, can't expect anything else if you want to try and 'legally' host tons of stuff. Everybody wants theirs, so it's going to get pricey.
