Following weeks of speculation, Electronic Arts (EA) has announced their acquisition of popular casual gaming company PopCap Games. I would also hope that PopCap realized that EA is also a cut throat institution & that hitting those 'certain' financial goals is like going on "Top Shot" with your shooting hand broken.

It's nice to have a venue for delivering your media where 'you' want it to go, but is it where EA wants to go & for how long? Sadly, it's not PopCap anymore... it's EA & they're in the driver's seat now.
