Borders Group has cancelled its bankruptcy auction and will begin liquidation, winding down its remaining 399 stores and sending 11,000 employees to the unemployment line. It's truly sad to me when any business closes. Kinda like a death. But especially sad when a business of this magnitude shuts their doors because of all the people that will be out of work. As if the world's economy isn't bad enough. American staples; Blockbuster (soon) and Borders. Who's next?
