i'm trying to make a ps2 games copie. i got dvd r burner and dvd room. I HAVE 4 DIVICE. i'm confuse from their cuz i suppose to have 2 device instead of 4 device. Name of the device are (F) (D) (E) AND (G). IN my computer i have only DVD BURNER AND DVD DRIVE. PLZ HELP ME... ??? sorry for my english. i did my best to explain it. thank u

the most likly answer is that alcohol has installed virtual cd drives when you installed the program you can use these virtual drives to mount image files

first i wanna say thanks for answring me. Okay, here is the problem. i got ps2 and i install some chip in it. I don't know how to make ps2 games copies. I got 50 pac of dvds. i'm pretty sure they are dvd r. i have alcohol 120% VERSION 1.9.2. , DVD x Copy Platinum version 2.1.0 and Nero 6.0 version software. all i need is ur help people. plz hook me up?

nero is easy-enough so you don't get confused with virtual drive's and mountimages and all that other stuff with AL120%
1. If you have 2 drives (1dvd-rom and 1dvd rw) then all you do is pop the original ps2 game in the dvd-rom drive, then you put your dvd +or- in the dvd rw drive, if you have a dvd or cd tab in your upper right corner- select the dvd tab(since ps2 are 99.7% are dvd based games), then you go to your "Copy and Backup" icon and select "Copy Disc" from there you just select your speed and next, then you just wait--and that's it.
2. If you only have 1 drive then you need a dvd rw drive(a must), from there you do need to save the image on you hard drive you can either use dvddecrypter or AL120%, don't know about x copy, never used on games
AL120%: you need to select "iamage making wizard" an image will pop up and on the bottom left hand corner there will be a drop down box that will say "Datatype:" you select either playastion or platstaion2, when your done selecting which program your going to copy hit next. it will then read and save it to your hard drive.
When it's all done reading you should see it, It should be the name of (what ever you named it) right on the AL120% screen. Select "image burning wizard" and select you game, hit next (make sure your "datatype" still say's ps2 or ps1 which ever game platform you copying) select you speed and press start. And off you go, exact backup of you original game.
If I missed somthing, someone please correct me.

geestar20 i try excatly same thing u told me to do with Nero software. and i got this error.
ERROR READING DATA...... BURN PROCESS FAILED AT 4X...
now what should i do ??? thanks for ur replay

plus i try to use alcohol 120%. I open Alcohol 120 then i click on IMAGE MAKING WIZARD. then i select cd/dvd device. but the problem is Datatype goes away. exameple, before putting the game in Device (E)Datatype is there when i put the game in Device (E)Datatype isn't there no more?? why ? i also try in diff Device and i'm having same problem.

hey....i try to copy from alcohol and Nero too. but i'm getting same error. disc dumping failed! and also it says, PROCESS WAS NOT COMPLETED! DO YOU WANT TO DELETE THE FILES. OPTIONS, YES OR NO. ?
