Microsoft has announced a new Media Remote for the Xbox 360, alongside a new Bluetooth wireless headset.
Both products should be released in early November.

well, is nice to have a new headset, but it looks over bulky for me. I don't think i be streaming my phone with it, besides it probably doesn't stream music through the headset.
LoL...at least their remote does not cost as much as the one from Sony.
AMD says the next xbox will have the graphics of Avatar. Since Microsoft would not release a console that was better than a year-old gaming PC, we know that there won't be another xbox for many years. They want to take the ground currently held by the Wii, and they just might have a chance. All they have to do is to update their old console a little bit with decent media center capabilities, stereo bluetooth headset functionality (no more wires running to the controller), and movement controls. It sounds like they have addressed everything, although their media center controller won't fix the fact that the drives can't play blu-rays.
I never use the remote that came with my Xbox HD-DVD player. Harmony One controls it all :)
I think Microsoft should scrap any thoughts of using Blu-ray.
I would say scrap the optical drive completely if they don't plan to implement backward compatibility.
Next gen games should be on MicroSD or similar cards. Endless size possibilities, plus more durable.
The console and controllers should have built-in mics for sound command. Talking to the system is the future.............

MicroSD isn't very affordable...a bluray costs well under $0.50 to print in mass; a MicroSD card with lower read speeds and 18GB less capacity would cost over $30 wholesale.
