I have a Buslink DVD+/- RW, that is a 4X-R write, however using DVD decryptor, I can only burn at 2X. Anyone know what my problem might be?

Also the same burner has an 8X record for DVD+R, yet I haven't tried using +R disc's. Are these better than - disc's? What is the difference? Thanks for all of the input.

Who actually made the media.... For DVD discs, a program called DVD Identifier is needed and can be obtained from http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/

According to the program, TDK Corp, and although the disc say's 4X on them, the program said it supports 1X and 2X.
