I recently bought a 25 pack spindle of Verbatim Digital Movie DVD+R from Best Buy for $29. I have had zero problems and am very pleased. I know Verbatim and Ritek are the best dvd's thus being the reason I bought them. Now my real question? I saw these same dvd's on the internet for $4.50 a pop. Am I missing something or should I go back to best buy and clear house.

So these are good dvd's and not like a bad batch? How can they sell these for nearly $100 cheaper than a wholesaler?

You'll find that there's a big variance in blank DVD prices. A lot of places seem to either be taking advantage of consumer ignorance or getting horrible deals because they don't buy from the best sources or in large enough quantities.

This is where the question of the who, what, where, and when needs to be answered. I am currently on my second 50 pack of recently bought Verbatim, manufacturers Id MCC 002 (Mitsubishi) and they are great. The problem is the next batch may be made by a less reputable manufactuerer but in your mind our minds we're still buying Verbatim. Alas, you also can't test them until you get them home.
