then a lot of people complain about the homeless in the world. fine I can see being allowed robots to assist with labor force, but there should honestly be set standards as to how many.

I'm thinking I will go out of my way not to purchase any products they touch then. Soon 85% of all people around the world will be poor, homeless or contemplating suicide. F this company, this planet continues to expand it's human population to no end and available jobs continue to shrink, eventually a breaking point will be reached.

So this means that poor Chinese workers are to expensive to be employed by Fuxconn. So who will make the expensive robots to replace the mega expensive Fuxconn workers? Whats the next impoverised country to be shafted by Fuxconn and Crapple?

yes history books from the future call it WW3. i always find it funny we can build a bomb that can crack the planet in two. but we cant feed the hungry, we cant find alternative fuels that they can still tax to hell. we cant build or repair new roads,we cant pay our old, we cant fund new schools. but by god we can build trillion dollar weapons with the only goal of destroying are own planet.

Or eventually transition out of the idea that "Everyone has to Work for Money" paradigm and enter an era where most work/labor is carried out by robots, while freely providing the basic necessities of life without a price tag. This will leave time for people to pursue their passions (which may not have yielded them money before), spend more time with friends/family, and overall create a much richer society/world.

Putting standards on how many robots can displace workers would only slow down this goal and further prolong this current path to destruction.
keep dreaming.

Yeah...you don't really think that the rich would give away all the money that they saved by replacing people, do you? Anyway, in a world like the one you described, robots would have to be self replicating...and that is never a good idea.

I use to here for them in TX and it wasn't hard unless they treat you like slave at other locations. Cinram in TX treats you like slaves and get break 1 per day and lunch counts as break. Cinram used to be motorola company in TX.

The trouble with robots is that they don't purchase anything nor pay taxes. Same problem as the people displaced by the robots. And the vicious cycle goes on.
