SwapMagic ver 3 DVD 2.0 CD 3.2 Boot error

I bouth 2 Flip-top cover, one for a PS2 SCPH-50001 V9-10 and one for a PS2 SCPH-39001 V7-8 .
The problem is when i use the SwapMagic Bood disk in the SCPH-50001 works fine but when i put it in the
SCPH-39001 the PS2 say : SM-DVD (it has no data the disk is empty) and the SM-CD (disk error) !

It not the SM-Disks because it works on the othe console (SCPH-50001) ! Whats wrong ?

I am using the PS2 SCPH-39001 WITH NO MEMORY CARD, does Swap Magic Boot disk use the memory card to boot ?

Ok, i Adjust the white wheel of the lazer (5 click clockwise) , and now it read and boot the DVD SwapMagic disk, I change the DVD with a Backup DVD-R of Jet Li Rise to Honor, and it run the demo but when i am in the start menu and select new game it continue to say loading..... and do nothing ! Do i keep adjusting the Lazer wheel ? Beacause the DVD-R is ok because i played in the other console V9 SCPH-50001 and run fine ! Or is there are other way ?

you could also try cleaning the laser and see if that hepls
