When I try to use the program in Simple or advanced mode I get an error code. It says dwwin.exe Application Error aand that a break point has been reached. I've uninstalled and then reinstalled the progam but get the same error. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks!

Here's what you need to do:
1: Through that dvd x copy program in the trash!
2: click the "guides" tab at the top of the page
3: follow the easy to use, free programs that work 200% better than DVD X COPY.

This offers no solution on how to fix his problem...Stay on topic

There are still alot of people having a hard time with the free programs.

Now ... HeathG,
What version of Platinum are you using? Have you ever been able to successfully backup with Platinum? If so, when did this start? When do you get this error message?

I have the last version of DVD X Copyu before the ripper was banned. I've used it to copy several of my hunting videos with great success, but for some reason with this hunting video I am using now I keep having the problems.

HeathG,
The last ripper version is v4.0.3.8 and you really should get v4.0.4.15RF while you can. Contact support@321studios.com and give them your license and password. They will issue a new one and you can then download the RF version.
But until then, are you able to backup other movies? Not just the hunting movies.

No. Now it gives me that error code as soon as I hit the Start button with any DVD. Before the errors started I was able to copy several DVD's; the last on was Lord od the Rings 3.

I did the defrag, no help. Now I've got a new problem, a new error message.
I get the same error in simple or advanced modes and it happens as soon as I hit "Start". I've uninstalled, deleted the 321 folder after uninstall and rebooted twice; I've defraged the drive... still happens.
The Error code says, "DVD X Copy XPRESS v3.2.1: XPress.exe - Application Error
Rhe instruction at "0x0045d816" refrenced memory at "0x0000000c". The memory could not be "read"
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debig the program"
The error occurs every time now and happens immediately upon pressing "start"
The error occurs regardless of the DVD that is in the drive, even ones I've sucessfully backed up in the last few days.
Prior to the problem I was able to back up 5 DVD with no problems.
I am running a 1.8 Pent 4 Dell 8200 with 1.5 GB Ram and a 120 GB hard drive that is 50% full.

HeathG,
You said you had the last ripper version. What version do you have? Some think v3.2.1 was the last version.
