I think this simultaneous release on all 4 carriers should help maximize sales of this phone for Samsung but now that it's so close to the expected 'next iPhone' launch, I feel that Samsung lost a good opportunity to get possible record sales had they released this phone earlier.
Everything about this phone sounds fantastic. I just wish it re-wrapped text to fit it's creen on e-mails and on the web like HTC phones do. That's really the only hang-up I can think of that would annoy me. Maybe it wouldn't be that way on these US models but it was on the unlocked european models that i watched reviews for on youtube.
WAY over due!...Ive been waiting too and holding off buying the HTC Sensation...I HOPE it comes to T Mobile but I am doubtful. T-Mobile is rumored to be getting the Samsung Hercules - a similar but slightly larger version of the Galaxy 2, and that wasnt rumored to arrive until September sometime. As a T-Mobile customer, I wont hold my breath on this one. I think we will have a longer wait yet. Hope Im wrong but I doubt it.
