According to sources and retail checks, HP has sold 350,000 TouchPads this weekend, after putting the device on "firesale" price of $99 for the 16GB version and $150 for the 32GB model.
Earlier this week, HP announced they would not create anymore webOS-based tablets and smartphones, and would begin liquidating their Pre phones and TouchPad tablet.

You could always just buy it and resell it to someone and make a profit. My brother works at a computer repair shop. They buy quad-core desktops, that people invested 1,000 bucks or more and buy them for 80 bucks or so. Normally the only problem is the HDD and then they plug in a new HDD. I believe thats terrible but times are tough now a days. But I agree, installing honeycomb or even possibly ice cream sandwich would make it a good tablet.
