USBmod, DVDR backups?

Hey..

My question is that is it possible to Boot DVDR backups with my USBmod and for booting cdrs I use Xtreme (old Gameshark type thing)? A while back there was a boot cdr that you put in after booting with Gameshark or Xtreme? IS there anything that works? Would love to play the backup of Driver3 on my lil bros ps2 at home.
