Hi, So first off, I'm using Ritek G04 media (DVD-R) and am burning with a Lite On 8X burner (Dual Format). I'm using DVD X Copy Platinum to burn. I've disabled all of the blacklisted software and have been using MSCONFIG to avoid other programs that may hinder or corrupt burning. I've burned a disc (City of God), but when I play it back on my stand alone, it freezes and has pixelation way too often every 5 to 10 seconds. That's not cool. I've tried searching the threads but no luck. Any Advice would be greatly apprciated.

Hi,

You may want to check your player's compatibility. Some players are picky about playing burned media. Here's a link:

Updating your burner's firmware may help if you haven't done so already.

Just for kicks you might try burning slower to see what happens.

I've already checked my Player, it works. (it's a good try though)
I've updated everything (a little overkill becuase it's a brand new computer)
The one thing I haven't done is burn at slower speeds. I would love to try this, but am unsure how to change the burner speed. DVD x copy platinum doesn't seem too user friendly in that sense.
