Hi,
I use a Sony VAIO with Gigapocket to output MPEG 2 files to create mey own DVD's. The stream it outputs has the audio and video mixed. In order for me to encode the audio as AC3 when I bring this type of file into DVDit, DVDit has to re-encode the video as well as the audio. If I bring elementary streams (separate audio and video files) into DVDit the program only encodes the audio and uses the video as is.

I tried Smartripper but have not been able to add a file to it. It only seems to see a recorded DVD. How can I split the file?

Thanks
