This is my second attempt on a different motherboard and both have the same problem. The ps2 comes on but it is a blank screen. I removed the mod from the first motherboard and it still works fine. So it isn't the ps2. I installed it on the second ps2(both are v4,I think) and I get the same problem. The chip is a fake, I think. Are there alternate soldering points or is it the chip. The ps2 comes on and if I hit the reset button the fan comes on along with the eject button but nothing on the screen. I hate to buy another modchip if it something I am doing wrong or not seeing. I have checked the bios pins and all others about 3 times now and there are no pins soldiered together. Could the modchip be fried? I am clueless.
