duo modchip install, now i get black screen HELP!

ok i just installed my magic duo modchip for my V7 ps2 console and the reset and eject buttons work fine but there is no picture or sound, i can put a game disc in and u can hear it spin up, still nothing on the screen, i have very little soldering experience, any suggestions?

I would say check your bios points.
