I have some VCDs to copy under *nix/BSD.

The best so long has been cdrdao which creates a data.bin and a toc-file.
(on-the-fly and copy don't work)
Anyway, I can write an .img or .iso using xcdroast (e.g.); a frontend to cdrecord.

The question now is:
How do I get the .bin and toc to be written to a CD ??

# ls -l
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 560665696 Jun 23 08:44 data.bin
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 666 Jun 23 08:44 toc3

From what I read in here, the .bin contains the data and is equivalent to .img

But what do I do with the toc-file ? This one looks like:

# cat toc3
CD_ROM_XA

TRACK MODE2_FORM_MIX

DATAFILE "data.bin" 00:16:58 // length in bytes: 2938688

// Track 2
TRACK MODE2_FORM_MIX

When I rename the data.bin to .img; it shows as CD with a red diagonal strip ('no CD' ??) It seems to need additional info ...
