when i did the file thing on gspot, it said that it wasnt an avi file and i try to play on divx n window media but it doesnt work either. is there any software i can download to convert it to an avi? or at least to play it?

if its not an 'avi' do you know what it is.Once we know then we can suggest a converter for you to try

well, the end to the file is .AVI and i use bittorrent to get this file.

see if you can locate a little program called avicodec

run your file through it and it will give you an idea of what the file structure is.Find it at:

http://avicodec.duby.info


You may just need a simple avi 2mpeg converter, but see how you go first.Aconverter can be found at:

http://www.flydragonsoft.com/avi-converter.
