I dunno if I could see this being a good thing or not.. I doubt it would be multiplayer incorporated into the story, so whats the point? Hopefully we get more details as we near game launch.

I can't see it being better any other way than in story mode. It's not as fast paced as a halo or MW3. But it would make a much better fit as a game that would allow puzzle solving as well as splitting up to complete the mission together. Even space dog fighting. But just to be in a room shooting at each other is starting to get played.

Agree completely; look at how well it worked for Borderlands *tho it had complete lack of story*, but again I doubt EA would do that as they risk a lot more in development costs not to mention size of the game.
