I have a ver.4 PS2 with the no-solder mod-chip(gives eject button new function) that works with swapmagic boot discs(cd-ver.3.0/dvd-ver2.0).I'm trying to play my backup of hitman contracts.I've been reading the other forums on how to load,but it won't work for me.Basiclly it reads the swapmagic cd,then when i load the cd loader(downloaded from swapmagicfix.com) for that game and hit x,it turns pink around the frame of the t.v. Can someone please help,thanks.

try burning cd loader again.
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero |

I tried burning it twice,and neither one would work.
It does the same thing from both discs I burned.
Can someone please help me with this,thanks.

Basically I don't get the cd loader to work.After I start with the swapmagic cd and then swap with the cd loader and hit x,I just get a pink,reddish color around the border of the t.v. I can't get past this step.

it appears somthing is going wrong when you burn cd loader what software did you use to burn it?have you thought about gining dvd loader a try most people who have problems with cd loader usualy have success with dvd loader(its a modified version of cd loader that you burn to dvdr and boot with swapmagic dvd)

I used Alcohol 120% trial ver. How can I get the dvd loader program? Do you think that one will work for me? Also,what would be the best site to get the cd loader for that game? Or basically any game in general?

you only need one version of cd/dvdloader for all games, it just looks like you need a seperate loader for each game because of the layout of swapmagicfix's site.

Can someone please help me.I tried using cd loader,dvd loader and I can't get either to work.I'm trying to play my back-up copy of "Hitman Contracts".The swapmagic cd boots,but when I swap it with the cd loader I get a pink border with lines around the t.v When the swapmagic dvd boots and then swap it with dvd loader,I get a pink border around the t.v.I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what? Can somebody please help me.
