Can anyone suggest what the best dvd-rw media is, and if they're any good?
I have a few new programs to test and don't want a stack of coasters to decorate the lounge.

Thanks for the reply. Are you talking about blank dvd-r as I was after information about re-writable media.
I thought that Ritek GO4 came in dvd-r only.
I've been using both ritek and verbatim dvd-r, but wasn't sure if their re-writables were as good.
Cheers.......

Your right about Ritek, I spoke too soon on that, personelly I use a Philips rewritable and have had no problems with it, I have also been testing and its perfect for doing that.

I have used Memorex DVD+RW and they are very good. Memorex also produce DVD-RW, so you might want to check them out.

Thanks for that. I'll keep my eyes open for them.
I would not have bothered with any of them except for Verbatim. But because of this forum, and the advice given by members, I'm willing to give some other products ago too. You never really learn unless you ask I guess.
Many thanks once again to you all.........

One brand I'd stay away from is Fujifilm. I needed some -RWs in a hurry one day and bought some 2x Fufilms because they were on sale. They work great as long as I burn them at 1x, but at 2x they invariably have pixelation at the edge of the disc. I've gotten my money's worth out of them, so I'm not exactly dissatisfied, but I wouldn't buy them again if I had time to order something better.

Hi all !
I picked up a few 2x Ritek excellent DVD-RW's yesterday and they're great.
Thanks for your feed back.
I've been testing Intervideo Dvd Copy 2 and have to admit that it's by far the best copy software around at the moment. Picture quality is superb!
I say this after also testing the latest Pinnacle, Nero Recode and DVD2One programs just to mention a few. I'm yet to try Dvd Rebuilder as I'm a bit short of time. I've heard it's a 4 hr process from start to finish. Time is one thing I don't have in abundance unfortunatlely, but have heard great reviews about it nonetheless.
For a simple and fast you just can't go past Intervideo's dvd copy 2.
For those of you wanting to give it a go you'll need to be running Anydvd with safe mode off to avoid encryption issues.......
Thanks all!
