Sprint has said this week that they are removing the unlimited 4G data option that has been available for tablets, notebooks, USB cards, Mobile Hotspot modems for over a year.
The broadband service will not see a price hike, but the unlimited 4G feature will be removed as of next month.

This is just the laptop connect cards (laptop cell modems) and things such as that.
they never had an unlimited 3g option for those, but did offer an unlimited 4g with them.
I'm sure this is to prepare for the transition from wimax to lte.
phones will still be unlimited 3g/4g as long as you have the unlimited plan, which is really the only plans that makes sense with sprint smart phones. unlimited everything @ $80 a month, thats for me.
