Electronic Arts (EA) has announced today that Battlefield 3 is their fastest selling game of all-time. The game sold 5 million copies in its first week of availability. Figures include global sales for all consoles and PC. Additionally, the publisher notes that the game has 2.5 million "likes" on Facebook and over 200,000 followers on Twitter. its plaqued with bugs and Punkbuster is still shit. once you get it running though its a fantastic game, definitely A BF2 successor.

(i still think Dice stole some idea's from Project Reality, and as such should be credited properly.)
