While RIM continues its long fall from the top.
HTC topped all other smartphone vendors for the Q3 2011, barely beating out Apple and Samsung.
RIM, maker of the once-popular BlackBerry, fell to under 10 percent for the first time since it was created.
The Taiwanese company took 24 percent share for the quarter edging out Samsung at 21 percent.

true, but if you really think about it T mobile has about 13 different HTC devices, Sprint has about 7, and AT&T has about 7, verizon has about 6, i mean for all the top 4 leading carrier itself has a total of 33 out of 45 devices (Source from HTC web site that I read before) They should no doubt be one of the leading seller beyond other companies, plus they are android, wp7 devices so they are all around, next thing you know they be using Ice Cream Sandwich as well.
oh, I'm myself uses HTC EVO 3d and had Evo before that, so I am a HTC fan myself, but Samsung Galaxy Nexus is looking really good right now.
