For the month ended October 31st, it appears that Android 2.3.3-2.3.7 (Gingerbread) has finally taken the lead in distribution. 43.9 percent of all Droids now use the operating system compared to 40.7 percent for Android 2.2 Froyo. I have a Samsung Epic 4G that I bought in April and I am still on 2.2. 2.3 was supposed to be release at the end of July, then in September.....Now it is November. Maybe that's why it has taken so long for 2.3 to take the lead. Service providers are dragging their feet.

Im pissed off with htc wildfire wont get the update my phone cost a small fortune so im not best pleased solution is simple I wont ever buy another htc phone / product ! Its a pity someone doesnt start a campaign on facebook or twitter to try and persuade htc to change their policy , i think us wildfire owners shouldnt be left out in the cold what do you think???
