Need help booting DVD-R's

Actually the problem with me is that I don't know which mod-chip I am using, but I am sure it plays dvd-r's and the guy that I bought it from gave me the instructions how to boot a dvd-r. At that time I did not have any dvd-r's but now that I do, I don't know how to boot them. Could anyone help me with the method? It used to be on here before, but can't seem to find it anymore. The method I need is the one with gameshark. Thanks in advance.

Try doing a search on this forum for posts related to old Neo chips. Like Neo classic or Neo 2.2. It sounds like that is what you have.
