PC world are selling in the UK, Verbatim have said that PC world will be the initial stockist due to limited availability.

I have a pack of 5 for sale on Ebay, seller WaynenWendy, start bid price £20.

Piss off - these forums are for information not self promotion and sales.

there were several people asking where they could get them from, so rather than post to each individual which would have taken ages, I setup a thread.

I was saying that there are places to buy them from and that I had some if they are interested.

I accept your point and dont normaly post sites offering something for sale. I am not aretailer, just got some from PC world at a good price as they messed up.

I still have to get a dual layer writer.

Sorry

And I assume that you are going to sell them, untried, untested to the brave, daring and gullible at the best price you can obtain.

I'm yet to see any reasonable review or test results for D/L media other than upbeat media hypes.

At current projected prices they are extremely expensive and untested - it would be preferrable to await test and feedback results prior to promoting/selling the media.

You are right I have never tested them and I certainly wouldnt have bought them at the price they are supposed to be selling at (14.99 a disc (£75 for a pck of 5). Cheapest online was at Dabs.com at £49 for 5 but they dont have any in stock. Surely a bid of £20 is better than £50, but I aint forcing anyone to buy.

As I have two packs of 5, I am only selling one to raise some cash. I can only afford to sell them at lower than the shop price as PC world made a mistake.

It maybe worth others trying at the stores to see if they can get them for a considerably reduced sum. It was an error by a member of staff due to the fact the prices for the new discs were not on the system.

If I dont sell the pack its not the end of the world, I will use them when I get my writer after my next pay packet.

I have only seen a few reviews and many of them are saying its difficult to know for sure due to the limited availability of disks in the UK.

I think we can agree to disagree on motives for selling and morality of selling untested wares.

You pays your money you take your chance.

Cheers

no probs - no real morality - just scepticism as to the value of the media
