Tablet owners are more engaged during videos

article published on 13 November, 2011

and just how many desktops are there in the world compared to tablets?.. skewed statistics to make a low uptake device seem it's leading usage figures where in reality desktop users will generally be doing something else as well as browsing a few videos. I would rather read something than watch a video.. because I can put it down and pick it up again at my convenience.. this craze for "instructions" in video format shows the dumbing down of the world where people are not capable of reading instructions any more..
Entertainment content has the same differences.. people will use tablets on the move during enforced idle times so it's a big DUH!! that they finish watching something which a desktop user will possibly be bored with and walk away to do something more important. I can think of plenty of things I should be doing than staring at youtube or some drivel film or tv show when I'm at home, but on a train?.. different thing altogether.

It is actually just common sense...if you are watching a video on a tablet you have nothing else to do.
