I`m willing to buy a new chip But I saw the only chip which can read PAL Is the MESSIAH 2 PRO,
Is it hard to install this chip on the machine? Can I do it myself ?
Btw, what is dms3? I don`t understand there are too many modchips and I just wanna buy one.
If you can help me I would like to know where is the cheapest price of the chip u recommend

deadcat is right. You do need to know the model # of your ps2 before you buy a chip. But either of those chips work on almost all versions except for some of the early Jap versions. Although any chip will play a PAL game all chips except the DMS3 will not allow the game to output the currect signal on your ps2. PAL game output a different signal frequency than NTSC. The DMS3 chips for the current game in your system to output in the native frequency of the console that you are on. So in a nut shell, if you wanna play PAL games and actually be able to see what is on the screen, I suggest getting a DMS3 chip.
