Citigroup analyst Mark Mahaney says Amazon's oft-rumored smartphone will be released at the end of 2012. The device is being built by Foxconn and developed by Amazon. Mahaney notes that the phone will be "mid-level," not running with high-end specs. The phone will be very price competitive, costing Amazon $150 to build. Just got the Fire and love it. An Amazon phone would be a great addition. Being a prime member it's great to be able to watch movies/tv for free while out. If I don't have wireless I just make my phone a hotspot and I'm online.

My guess is a 10" Fire is not far off.
