Hi,

I'm new to the forum so apologies if this has been covered before or in one of the guides.

I'm trying to burn some data onto Datawrite RItek G04 8x discs, however the 'Drop-Down' box in the 'Burn' screen within the Nero software only gives me the choices, 1x, 2x, and 4x.

Any help will be much appreciated.

What make/model burner and firmware version do you have?

G04 is the media code for 4X discs, what's the media code for the discs you're using? You can use this tool to find out:

I have a Pioneer A07, DVD-R +/- 8x Write Speed.

I used the link you provided, and the following info was displayed with reference to the disc I'm using:
