First off let me say that I've searched for answers and didn't come up with anything really useful. Alright, what I'm trying to do is convert 17 episodes in avi format with tmpeg in to mpeg-1. From there I use dvd-lab to burn them onto one dvd+r. Now I've done this with another program (forget which one) but with some of the episodes the audio and video were out of sinc. In any event after I use dvd lab to create the dvd I burn it with nero, the only problem is that the audio in some of the episodes gets kind of staticy whenever it gets too loud. Anybody have any suggestions?

Sounds like your having a similar problem to what I encountered a few days ago, but in a different context.

Get yoruself a copy of VirtualDub open the movie file that is giving you the audio problem, and then use direct stream copy for both audio and video streams and recreate a .AVI file.

this should re-encodde the file and hopefully will correct the audio stream when you create the dvd using this new .avi

hope this helps, im new to all this, but my audio problems and size problems were fixed by simply reencoding the files in Vdub.

DVD-R/+R n00b and proud :D

Alright, I did what Hapkuab said but it didn't fix my problem. I think it's getting all screwed up in dvdlab because before I put the movie in the layout a warning comes up saying that the audio needs to change from 44 kHz to 48 kHz.
