can anybody tell me if they have had any success using ritek-r 4x branded on their gsa-lg 4o4ob on firmware a104 thanks

i have the lg 4040B and use those discs with no problems at all. i have the newest firmware though the A303 you should update:)

Go to--->> http://us.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp
click device manager then go to dvd-writer and select lg gsa4040B and download the A303 firmware
there are detailed instructions with the zip that u download

the one that says win98 means win98 or higher. once you click and it read the readme it will say it is compatible with windowsxp
