Wow Verizon! I'm extremely surprised to see that they weren't a part of this. But I'm just too damn lazy to check my phone anyways.

We will have to see the results; I have serious doubts that verizon wouldn't be involved.

This has nothing to do with whether or not anyone has something to hide. Why would you want someone knowing your every move on your phone? You shouldn't want that at all! Guess you wouldn't mind someone listening to your calls as well, since you have nothing to hide. C'mon! This is about yours and everyone's privacy and no one has the right to invade it without your permission expressly given or a court order granting authorities to do so!

And this, ladies and gents, is why rooting is VERY beneficial!

However my phone can't support, at least v7 of this software. So is my Desire Bravo too old to have had this on it?

Actually - I've got a custom Leedroid ROM anyway so I'm kl!

Agreed. Verizon is way too big of a company to not have any involvement with this. Hell, domination is what they are. If they have it most likely a fiirmware update will be applied to their phones, as they don't want to be sucked up in a class action lawsuit if found out that they have this program but continue denying they don't.

What did you think was going on when your data arrows were flashing. You've all been sending so called anonymous data back to every damn program you use even when you tell it you don't want to participate in these things they still log shit.
And im one that has verizon and my test came back with no results but you all gotta know every program you use saves or sends back some kinda info to there severs to better know how to improve there product.
It's not always malicious.

I know my dad's verizon phone just got an update...it didn't even give him the option to opt-out, and the 150MB (1200mb) of data was applied to his 2gb data plan. I don't know what they did exactly, but I do know they broke his USB tethering in the process.
