ICE seizes more domains

article published on 4 December, 2011

ICE targets Korean download portals. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has seized yet more domain names, redirecting users to a notice that the domain has been seized for copyright infringement. The movie portals served a Korean audience, and so ICE has added a Korean translation to its notice. The domains reported seized are: 007disk.com, 007disk.net, 82movie.com, 82movie.net, ... [ read the full article ]

So since U.S private companies, with support from the government can seize foreign property, does that mean Iran's government request for seizure of anti-Iranian, lewd, non-Muslim, and Zionist websites and property can happen right? And lets not forget all those pesky Syrian bloggers, who are violating some of the most important laws in their home country.
Those will be extradited back to Syria to face justice right?

I'll stick my foot up your ass.

If the US is going to put it's all knowing, always right, upturned nose into everyone's business, don't be surprised when someone takes your nose and kicks you in it with a size 10.

What's all the hubbub about SOPA? Sounds like they've already passed and implemented it. Yet another "bill" passed by corporations through their corrupt political puppets. Kissing babies, flashing fake smiles, glad handing, reading from teleprompters, and collecting corporate bribes are all our politicians are good for. Is there anyone left in government with principle?

If your fish seems sick, put it back in the water.

Did you forget to plug your brain in? Or is that sarcasm?

I hope it's sarcasm. Either or, I never even heard of any one of those sites so no love loss to me. Now it does suck for the end-users that go, but how long before this incites global rioting? (oh wait, that's already going on over Wall-Street).

So yeah, no big deal... Until they strip away something that's important to me, whatever...no biggie...

I don't know any of those sites either. ICE targets Korean portals, after SOPA and like bills get passed who do you think ICE will be focusing on?

They've practiced, the technology is in place, they're just waiting to use it at home.
