Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Vita will region-lock all digital content. If you need to switch to a different PSN account the hanheld will need to be factory reset, says Sony Japan's Third-Party Relations chief Brad Douglas. And how long before that gets stripped out & Sony starts the pirating pee-pee dance of 'sue the world' again & Anon or the next hacking nation up rises? Personally, I'm sick of some cool games being released in countries never seeing the light of day in others.

I'm not sure what the hang ups are, but I'm sure they're amassed & varied; inviting a new 'region' standard to a fray is not helping matters. Not to mention the last thing Sony needs is another proprietary mess on their hands.

The PS Vita is pretty much dead on arrival. No serious gamer is gonna buy one.

Was excited for it but every day some news about how sony wants to suck money out of people pockets comes up......
FU Sony Vita is gonna be a flop unless mindless sony fans buy it

Very true... When I learned you could hack the PSP 2000 I raced out voided the warranty in less than 24 hours. I had a ball with that thing.

Thats why i bought my wii and then waited for xbox 360 to be hackable ....never did my Ps3 though since it's just a hasle
