When I read the headline I thought this was a good thing...but then I read that paragraph. It is already common knowledge that this was not an operation to catch smugglers as the guns were not tracked and the smugglers were both already known and not arrested. It seems that they are just trying to direct the focus of the conversation from a massive coverup that resulted in countless deaths to a smaller, already admitted conspiracy.
