After months of speculation, Nintendo has finally given an official U.S. release date for its 3DS Circle Pad Pro peripheral.
Starting on February 7th, the accessory will sell for $20. Somewhat surprisingly, Gamestop will be the exclusive retailer for the device, suggesting Nintendo may not be expecting large sales.

What did they expect, it's something that should have been implemented on the original 3DS. Presuming sales can continue to climb for the unit, eventually I see them making a 3DS-XL with dual analog, so hardly anyone is or should bother with this attachment. (Not to forget to mention that this is the worlds ugliest handheld attachment ever.)

Gee, look at how huge that damn thing is! Well at least the price is about right even if it does look ridiculous.
