Amazon has said today that it is selling over 1 million Kindles per week. The behemoth e-tailer is notorious for never revealing sales numbers for its products, so the new admission is in stark contrast to past press releases. While I like the design of the Kindle 4 and some things on the Kindle Fire, they still have a ways to go if they want to catch up with Apple. Now if they were to get a full-fledged tablet version of the Fire, then we might just might get to see some good competition from Amazon, which is not entirely impossible, but not likely any time soon.
